The mission of Bayvale Elementary School is to empower our students through education by providing a safe learning environment, and collaborative partnerships which enhance learning and diversity, and a social atmosphere that regards inclusion for every student and fosters an environment where all may thrive.
Our Story
Bayvale Elementary School is proudly centered in the community for which it was named. Bayvale is a public, inner-city elementary school established in 1926. On April 27, 1963 a fire broke out in the Northeast corner of the school and after battling the blaze only a wing of the school could be saved. A new school was erected to replace the one lost to the fire. The school is still committed to meeting the needs of students who live in the Bayvale Community.

College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI) is Georgia’s statewide accountability system. The CCRPI assesses how well students are prepared for college and careers, and ensures that schools are focused on improving achievement among all students. The index measures student achievement on indicators such as content mastery, student growth on progress, subgroup performance on closing gaps, and various areas including Lexile performance, attendance, and other academic based measurements. Schools earn CCRPI points based on indicators that vary by grade and school level and align with measures of college- and career-readiness. Each individual component score is on a scale of 0-100.
