Principal's Message

Welcome to an exciting new school year at Bayvale Elementary School! It is my absolute pleasure to welcome back our returning Bear families and to extend a very special greeting to the many new families who are joining us this year, including those who are now part of the Bayvale community through our recent rezoning. We are honored that you are here, and we look forward to building strong partnerships with each of you as we work together to ensure every child thrives.

At Bayvale Elementary, we believe that every student deserves a place where they feel valued, challenged, supported, and inspired. This year, we proudly embrace our school motto:

United in Purpose: Every Bear Belongs. Every House Leads. We PAWS for Success!

This motto reflects who we are and what we believe. Every student is an important member of our Bayvale family, and through our House System, each child will become part of a schoolwide family that promotes leadership, service, perseverance, teamwork, and school pride. Whether students belong to the House of Altruismo, Amistad, Isibindi, or Rêveur, they will learn that success is achieved by working together, encouraging one another, and demonstrating the values that make our school community strong.

Our PAWS expectations—Positive Attitude, Accept Responsibility, Work with a Purpose, and Safety First—will continue to guide our daily actions and help us create a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment where every Bear can succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

As principal, I remain committed to providing every student with high-quality instruction, meaningful learning experiences, and opportunities to discover their unique strengths. Our dedicated faculty and staff are eager to partner with you to ensure your child experiences a year filled with growth, achievement, and memorable experiences.

Families are an essential part of our success. We encourage you to stay actively involved by communicating with your child's teacher, participating in school events, volunteering when possible, and celebrating your child's accomplishments along the way. Together, we can create an environment where every student feels supported both at school and at home.

Whether you have been a part of Bayvale for many years or this is your first year as a Bayvale Bear, please know that you belong here. We are excited to begin this journey with you and look forward to an incredible year of learning, leadership, and success.
